Q4 2023 Brazil Android Snapshot: Top Pirate Games Performance

As the year 2023 came to a close, the swashbuckling genre of pirate games continued to entertain mobile users in Brazil. Sensor Tower's latest data gives us a glimpse into how five popular pirate-themed games fared on the Android platform during the fourth quarter.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, despite being a newcomer with a January 2024 release, made a splash with downloads peaking at 22K in the final week of December. The game's weekly active users (WAUs) followed a similar trajectory, soaring to over 17K after a dip in mid-December. Revenue, however, saw a decline, dipping to under $6K by year's end.

JOYCITY Corp.'s seasoned title, Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW, showed a consistent revenue stream with a slight uptick to over $1K in the last week of December. The game's downloads came to a halt in December, while WAUs gradually decreased to 3K.

Playtika's Pirate Kings™️ ended the quarter with a modest revenue of $49 in the final week. Notably, the game had no new downloads recorded throughout the quarter, and the data for WAUs was not available.

Helio Games' Mutiny: Pirate Survival RPG saw a steady revenue, ending at $98 in the last week. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 942, and WAUs showed a small rise to over 1K by the close of the quarter.

Lastly, Atlas Studio Co., Ltd.'s Lord of Seas: Survival&Conquer experienced a surge in revenue, jumping to $348 in the holiday week. Downloads also saw a significant increase, reaching nearly 3K. The game maintained a strong presence in WAUs, ending the quarter with over 21K active users.
